Was the prosecution of Former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman politically
motivated? A top "Republican" lawyer, under sworn testimony claims it was.
The more I read about how the Justice Department has been used for political
purposes the sicker I get. A TIME Magazine article spells out a few particulars
of the case
and it isn't pretty.

On today's Rachel Maddow Show she interviewed Scott Horton who
described one of the most disgusting misuses of our justice system I
could imagine, the prosecution of Former Governor Siegelman.
The slime surrounding this prosecution is so thick that
44 Attorneys General have demanded an investigation, both
Democrats, and Republicans.

If this wasn't a politically motivated prosecution, there is no moon....

This article is frightening. What were these people thinking? They could get away with this? It appears the evidence is mounting. Save a cell for Rove, and the rest of the gang.

I heard the interview on Rachel's show. Man oh man. Is this a crime? Political prosecution? Conspiracy to do this by all involved?
